Santa Ana Mayor Miguel Pulido is hosting a reception this Friday, November 16, 2012, at 6 pm, at 412 W. 4th St., across from the Federal Court House in Downtown Santa Ana, for his campaign supporters, volunteers, friends and family. You are invited to attend and meet Mayor Pulido as we celebrate his overwhelming victory in the Nov. 6 General Election.
Mayor Pulido currently has 22,667 votes, or 47.6% of the total votes, leading his closest challenger by almost ten thousand votes. There are still about 9,000 votes left to count, according to the O.C. Voter Registrar, however over 7,000 of those votes are provisional ballots that are often dismissed for various technical reasons, and Mayor Pulido’s lead has held up since the election.
Mayor Pulido also won handily in 2010, by just under ten thousand votes, according to Smart Voter.
Election victories like these don’t come easily. Mayor Pulido thanks all those who worked hard on his re-election campaign and he is looking forward to thanking everyone in person this Friday evening.
