Mayor Miguel Pulido is leading in early election results, according to the O.C. Voter Registrar, with over 48% of the vote, as compared to challenger David Benavides, who has 25% of the vote.
Mayor Pulido had this to say about the early results, “Today’s vote is an affirmation of my leadership and our campaign. In fact, we’re on track for earning many more votes this year than two years ago. What I’ve been hearing on the campaign trail is they like the progress we’ve made on crime, city streets and community revitalization.”
Mayor Pulido is grateful for all the support he received during this hard fought campaign and he thanks his family and all those who voted for him.
